Currency Rules Update - March 2026

We’ve made a small set of updates to our currency rules to improve validation accuracy and ensure continued compliance for specific currency and country combinations

West African Franc (XOF) – Burkina Faso (BF)

• Payments to certain IBANs are now restricted for XOF payments.
• Payments using these IBANs will be rejected.
• This restriction applies to XOF payment only, EUR payments are not impacted.

Brazilian Real (BRL) – Brazil (BR)

• Tax ID validation has been updated.
• A 14‑character alphanumeric Tax ID format is now supported, with the last 2 characters required to be numeric digits.

Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) – Malaysia (MY)

• Account numbers must now be longer than 5 characters.
• Submissions with shorter account numbers will fail validation.
