Currency Rules Updates - Mar 2025

We’ve made updates to our currency rules to enhance the straight-through processing (STP) of payments to certain countries. Below are the key changes:
- Mongolian Tugriks (MNT) – Mongolia (MN): IBAN is now mandatory for payments.
- Uzbekistani Som (UZS) – Uzbekistan (UZ): A Personal Account Number is required when sending to certain banks. Refer to the Currency Requirements API for details.
- Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) – Zambia (ZM): Bank branch length requirements have been updated. Check the Currency Requirements API for specifics.
- Indian Rupee (INR) – India (IN): An FCRA Registration Number is now mandatory for some payment codes. See the Currency Requirements API for more details.
- Caribbean Guilder (XCG) Adoption: The Caribbean Guilder (XCG) now replaces the Netherlands Antillean Guilder (ANG) for payments to:
- Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba (BQ)
- Curaçao (CW)
- Sint Maarten (Dutch part) (SX)
