API Update - Aug 2025

We’ve been actively enhancing our APIs with a series of behind-the-scenes improvements and bug fixes. Here are the key updates included in this release:

New Features & Enhancements

• Investigation Support: Introduced new Topic and Reason Codes to streamline the creation of investigations.
• External UETR Support: The Get Status API now supports external UETRs, enabling broader tracking capabilities.
• Client Reference Tracking: You can now include a clientReference in your Quote, Trade, or Instruct requests. This reference will be returned in the Status API, making internal reconciliation easier.

Optimizations & Removals

• Simplified Instruct API: Removed the trade booking object from the Instruct API request parameters, as this functionality is no longer supported.
• Real-Time Trade Booking: The PENDING trade status has been deprecated. Trade booking is now synchronous. Once you send a Book Trade request, the trade is immediately booked and returned with a status of PENDINGINSTRUCTION.
